David is indeed a tall, gorgeous hunk. Now at about 35, he still looks much younger and has a terrific body. I have seen him show his muscular bare chest in a couple of performances and he has very strong arms. He stands at least 6′4″. I met him about 12 years ago when he was in an opera studio program. He was about 23-24 then, and looked and sounded incredible. He had that very powerful voice that makes you shiver; it has become more rich and refined with age. His magnificent voice soars and resonates like no other.
Being so tall and well-built, he looks incredible in formal wear . . . the only time i have seen him in full-dress tails was in a picture from a master’s recital he gave at Oberlin and there is one photo of him and the Il Divo guys in black tuxedos toasting with champagne. Otherwise, they are usually in their suits.
